Colour Run Fundraising on Raised
A Colour Run campaign is a crowdfunding donation page with event-ready styling, designed for colour runs, fun runs, and similar activity-based events. It works just like a general crowdfunding campaign, with a look built for the occasion.
Setting Up a Colour Run
- Log in to your dashboard and choose to create a new fundraiser.
- Select Crowdfund Campaign, then choose the Colour Run campaign type.
- Add your event details, dates, currency, fundraising target, and thank-you message.
- Connect Stripe so you can accept donations (required, since donations are online by card).
- Complete verification and approval so your page can go live. See Getting Approved to Go Live.
By default, the Colour Run page offers preset donation amounts of $15, $30, $50, $100, and $250. You can change these in Settings → Contribution Amounts. See Setting Your Contribution Amounts.
Adding Teams and Individual Fundraisers
A colour run works brilliantly when classes, year groups, or friends compete to raise the most. This is done with Teams mode, which is optional and turned on from your dashboard after you create the campaign. It isn't switched on during setup.
With Teams mode enabled you get:
- Teams: group members into teams, such as classes or year groups.
- Individual member pages: each member gets their own page with a shareable link and a QR code they can print or post.
- Leaderboards: both team and individual leaderboards to spur friendly competition.
To set this up, open your campaign and enable the P2P / Teams mode. For a full guide, see P2P / Teams Mode.
Costs
There are no setup fees, monthly fees, or subscription costs. By default, a 5% platform fee and standard Stripe processing fees are added to each donation and paid by the supporter, not by you. You can choose to absorb fees yourself in your payment settings if you prefer.
