How much does it cost to run a crowdfunding campaign?
There are no setup fees, monthly fees, or subscription costs. Card donations carry a 5% platform fee and Stripe processing fees. Card surcharges are not allowed in Australia, so by default these come out of the donation, and donors can choose to cover them.
What payment methods can donors use?
Donors can pay with any major credit or debit card, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Is there a minimum or maximum donation amount?
The minimum donation is $0.50. The maximum is $10,000 per donation. Donors can choose from preset amounts or enter a custom amount.
Do I need to reach my goal to keep the funds?
No. Raised uses flexible funding, so you keep every donation regardless of whether you hit your target. There is no all-or-nothing requirement.
Can individuals use this, or is it only for organisations?
Anyone can create a crowdfunding campaign on Raised. Individuals, schools, sports clubs, community groups, and charities are all welcome.
How quickly do I get the money?
