Embedding a Donation Form on Your Website
You can embed a Raised donation form directly on your own website. Supporters donate without leaving your site, and the payment is processed by Raised in the background, so receipts, reporting, and payouts all work exactly as they would on your fundraiser page.
This suits organisations that already have a website supporters visit regularly, such as a school, club, or charity site.
Getting Your Embed Code
- Open your fundraiser in the Raised dashboard.
- Find the sharing options for your fundraiser and copy the embed code.
- Paste the code into a page on your website.
The embed code is a small block of HTML that looks something like this:
<iframe src="https://raised.nz/your-fundraiser/embed" width="100%" height="600" frameborder="0"></iframe>
Your actual code will include your fundraiser's own address, so always copy it from your dashboard rather than typing it out.
Adding It to Common Website Builders
- WordPress: add a "Custom HTML" block to your page and paste the code into it.
- Squarespace: add a "Code" block and paste the code.
- School or club websites: most content management systems have an HTML or embed option. If yours is managed by someone else, send them the code and they'll know what to do with it.
What Supporters See
Supporters see your donation form inside your page, with your fundraiser's details and donation amounts. They choose an amount, pay by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, and receive their receipt by email as usual.
Donations made through the embedded form appear in your Raised dashboard alongside everything else, so your totals, supporter list, and reporting stay in one place.
Troubleshooting
- The form doesn't appear. Check the code was pasted into an HTML or code block, not a plain text block. Text blocks often strip out embed code.
- The form is cut off. Increase the height value in the embed code.
- Your fundraiser isn't live yet. The form only accepts donations once your campaign is approved and live.
