Forgotten Coin Appeal

G,day Aussies,

This is Adam, 19 and unemployed living in Gambia, West Africa and after his father's passing is unsuccesfully trying to support his Mum; Fana, and his three younger sisters; Mama, Mary & Matty.

After a desperate face to face Facebook call and much follow up, i have started to help this family with food and medical help as Fana is incapacitated with high blood pressure.

I am the only westerner Adam has been able to contact but my capacity to help fix their water ingressed house and propel Adam into a business ( to remove dependencey from Charity) is unfortunately beyond my means.

I have launched a curious and interesting fund raising concept below to help Adam and his family.

Currently in Australia, card transactions and phone tap is overtaking cash. Even vending machines won't accept coin any more and coins are almost forgotten in our wallets, lost under car floor mats and between cushions in our sofas.

This forgotten resource will never be missed and if a few coins were found, the equivalent value would only be that of; "a sip of bought coffee"!

I ask this simple question - could a few forgotten coins really permanently change the fortunes of a family, struggling to exist, in Gambia right now?

I believe,,,,, it will - for just a few thousand of us and our friends whom do participate in this social experiment.

It's not the size , its the fact it happens, and just a coin or two by many of us will make the difference.
